Mmmmm. I love that sort of fog too.

I went to college (more years ago than I like to admit) up on a mountain, in an old volcanic crater. My final year there, I stayed in the dorms that were up further on the rim of the crater rather than down below. There was a long set of stairs that climbed up to them, among the trees.

When it was foggy, or maybe more literally the clouds were low on the mountain, the fog would condense among the needles of the evergreens and fall downwards. I came up with a phrase for it, then. "It's only raining under the trees."

I live in a city now, but one with many trees and water around--but where I am it seldom gets foggy, and when it does it's not usually that wet. Even so I miss that, and take pictures when I can. Here's what I took the last time: https://photos.app.goo.gl/abkLrXLcTap5JtFd9
